What kind of dog (counting mixes and mutts) gets your vote as the champion of dogs?

Zitch Dog!

Okay I'm obviously not going to do an entry that short, so I'll take some time to say how much I love How I Met Your Mother. A lot. Neil Patrick Harris is legen... wait for it... dary! I'm currently about halfway through the third season. Swarley is the best episode. Both because it has Tom Lenk and Morena Baccharin (Andrew from Buffy and Inara from Firefly) on it and because the Swarley thing is hilarious. In fact I think I'm going to go and watch more episodes now.

Yay Swarley! "I signed him up for People En Espanol, but I addressed it to 'Swarlos." I also loved re-watching that episode AFTER I got into Firefly and being so excited to realize that was Inara. I just watched the Zitch Dog episode last night! It's one of my favorites. I guess Slapbet is probably my favorite.

Sorry about taking a while to reply. I just went on a massive How I Met Your Mother binge and am completely up to date. I absolutely love it! I love the whole Slap Bet thing. I hope that comes back again (although I'd kind of love Future Ted to tell his kids that Future Barney is still waiting for that last slap).

It's funny, I never would have thought I'd enjoy HIMYM as much as I have done. I only really gave it a chance because of Alyson Hannigan and Neil Patrick Harris. I think the title is a little off-putting. Which is a shame because it's obviously the perfect title once you start watching.

Aww that's fantastic! I would love for the last slap to be in the final episode, maybe between old Barney and Marshall. They're really built up the Goat thing, so I hope that pays off! Still a little bitter that they titled an episode "The Goat" and STILL didn't tell the damn story!

I really hope that when the goat finally rears it's head it's going to be good. It has to be. They wouldn't build up the story this much if there wasn't some really good conclusion to it. Unless they're going for a deliberately disappointing conclusion; personally I think it might just have ate some of Robin's clothes.
Personally that there was no goat in an episode entitled The Goat made the episode for me. Then again I might have been a bit more annoyed had I been anticipating the Day of the Goat since when The Pineapple Incident aired, rather than when I saw it about a week ago.

Yeah, I've been watching since late season one, so I've been waiting QUITE a while for that damn Goat! I'm just worried they haven't really come up for something with the Goat yet...and just keep dragging out until they come up with something. I'm going to hope I'm wrong there!

Yeah. I can see how an episode entitled "The Goat" with no goat might be something of a letdown under those circumstances. Personally I think that they were going to do the story with the Goat last year but the whole Writer's Strike thing messed things about so that they couldn't get it quite right and so decided to postpone it till this year.

At least I hope so. It's better than the alternative.
