Reviewing latest episode of Supernatural. It should go without saying that if you don't want this episode to be spoiled then you should not read and preferably go and sit in the garden and stare at the moon. If you're very good I imagine that the moon won't start spoiling things for you either.

I really enjoyed this episode. It was very different from the usual episodes of Supernatural but in a good way. I was however aware, even as I watched the episode, that when it's out on DVD and all that this episode might be one of the ones I would skip. Not because it didn't have a good premise or because the ghost wasn't very good (the ghost was very good. The eerie party he was throwing in the basement was very good and creepy) but because it wasn't enough of Sam and Dean for my taste. It was too much Ed and Harry's miscellaneous crew, which apart from Corbett (whose name I only remembered because of Ronnie Corbett) I didn't even attempt to remember the names of.
Good episode. On first viewing I say it gets a nine out of ten. On subsequent viewings possibly less.

I agree. I liked it. Especially because the remaining episodes promise to be heavy in the angst and drama. But you are correct that once on the DVDs I might skip this one more often. I hadn't really thought of it that way.
