2008 is the Year of the Rat. Which animal year were you born in?

Apparently I'm a tiger. I know. The thrills never stop here on Writer's Block. It's one thrilling answer after another. Tune in tomorrow to read a description of me accidentally spilling a drink. Then it'll be thrills and spills. The fun that will be had.

This question = lame. Don't agree? Don't care. I say the year and then what? Stop writing confident that I've provided a good entry with lots of humorous or interesting content? This Writer's Block is supposed to inspire you to write things not cause you to be even more blocked than before.

Here's a question for you: Why does anybody believe in astrology? The stars in the sky are like light years away from where we live. Distant to the point of being irrelevant. Why in the hell should they have anything at all to do with what happens in our lives. They don't. You might as well just throw some cereals across a chess board and claim to read horoscopes off of that.
"Right now, you were born under the sign of b-5. Now some rice crispies are in your sign today, which means you will have some good luck. But there's also a coco pop half on your sign and half on c-5. This means it's a good time to persue a relationship with anyone born under the sign of c-5 as they are certain to be receptive and want to fuck your brains out."
Honestly, come on, it's just nonsense. Get over it.

haha, great post - i know exactly where you're coming from.

i wonder how much livejournal pays the person who comes up with the 'writer's block' ideas. far too much, whatever it is.

thanks. I'm not sure they actually have a person who comes up with writer's block ideas. I think they have some kind of random word generator and make it come up with the questions.
