Bike Maintenance

Verily, the most exciting thing that has happened today was Mike coming being here and needing help with the fixing of his motorbike. Don't ask me what I was actually doing as I don't have a clue, but it seemed to involve hauling the front of the bike up, so that this thing could be screwed into the thing. It was all very technical, and between me, Mike and my granddad we managed to haul it up and screw it in... using a jack on the handlebar a second time. This was not done however without a considerable amount of swearing, and shouting at the neighbour's dog.
In other news I was asleep till twelve noon because of reckless abandon staying up till about four in the morning yesterday. So, as you can imagine today has seemed significantly shorter. I might go and see Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind tomorrow, or make my way up to the Lowry to see where I will be going to see Bill Bailey. (Seventh Row!)
I can't really think of anything else to say which is altogether sensible, or whatever... however I really feel like wasting a bit of time here so I'll see if a subject springs to mind any time soon.... In fact yes....
Okay, anybody who has ever played The Sims for any legnth of time, will understand the sheer frustration at the legnth of time given for each day. For example Sims can quite easily spend half an hour on the toilet, with times like this it's no wonder you never have time to form any relationships, or to build up any skills. Oh, and as for keeping the friends you have... well don't count on it is all I have to say. I think that the Sims time should be slowed down to the point where it doesn't take 50 minutes to walk from one end of the building to another, and something should definately be done about when other sims get in front of them and they wait like 30 minutes for them to go away, even if they are gone in one or two.
In fact let's boycott The Sims 2, and try it and if it doesn't meet up to our expectations, no matter how inachievable and astronomic they happen to be, we take it back and write severe hate mail to Electronic Arts and Maxis and in fact to everyone on the credits list. That'd show them all.
[Stands on a rock] Comrades! Unite behind me and we will blaze a trail of fire through the corrupt city! [turns towards city and draws sword, pointing it in the air.]
