It seems to be very popular as of late so here are some people that I would like to see play the Eleventh Doctor in no particular order.

1. Adam Baldwin
2. Summer Glau (if there was ever going to be a female doctor then it would have to be her)
3. Noel Fielding
4. Bill Bailey
5. James Marsters
6. Simon Pegg (Nick Frost would have to be his companion though)
7. Johnny Depp (this one's probably a bit out of BBC Wales' budget but I can dream can't I?)
8. Hugh Laurie
9. Alexis Denisof
10. Anthony Stewart Head (I believe it's just Anthony Head nowadays but whatever)
11. Callum Blue

By the way I'm allowed to muck about listing people who will probably never get chosen to play the Doctor because I'm already over my quota of words for the day. So there.

1. Adam - Well, he's very busy with 'Chuck' :-). Also, can he do a cast iron British accent? [I don't mind which as long as it's foolproof]. I also can't currently see him re-locating to the UK, no matter how much I'd be absolutely thrilled skinny to have him here [GG].

2. Similar thoughts about Summer. Plus current 'Sarah Connor...' busy-ness :-).

4. Bill Bailey - if he'd do it, yes.

6. Simon Pegg...well, he's recently played a baddie on Doctor Who, but yes!

Hugh Laurie/Tony Head - gosh, YES!

I know Jamie Bamber would be really good to do it, unless he's too busy with BSG

Not too keen on Simon Pegg and Bill Bailley (better option would be Frankie Boyle- can you imagine it?!!) but I think James Marsters and Callum Blue should definitely be in the running!!

I believe Callum Blue is obscure enough to be in the running as an actual candidate, or that could be just me deluding myself. He'd be so perfect to play The Doctor either way.

Seeing as I can't imagine Eleven being anyone we've ever heard of before, I thought I'd just ignore whatever the actors are up to at the moment and go with my ideal candidates.

I'm not sure how well Adam would do with a British accent. I for one wouldn't mind if he just did that same accent as he always does. It doesn't sound specifically American so I think it'd pass muster. :)
